Jo Leo Houses started out with our signature Jo Leo house in Cape Town. A true gem nestled between the sea and the mountains in the beautiful Camps Bay neighborhood and the perfect family holiday home, the property inspired the creation of the Jo Leo collection of holiday homes.

The mastermind behind Jo Leo houses and its vision is founder Marleen Schröder. Her background in real estate and her passion for travelling around the world have led her to create Jo Leo Houses. Her vision is to have personally curated holiday homes available in all of the breathtaking places she has fallen in love with on her travels. It is our promise to our guests that Jo Leo will always be personally curated by Marleen to ensure that each home meets the highest standards and that guests have the perfect holiday experience.
Our exclusive collection of personally curated holiday homes around the globe is constantly expanding and evolving. We aspire to offer our guests high-end holiday homes in the most beautiful destinations and most exciting places around the world. We add to our portfolio one home at a time to ensure that all properties are up to the high standards we set for Jo Leo Houses. “It’s all in the details. There are many beautiful holiday houses in stunning locations out there, but Jo Leo is about creating the perfect family holiday experience. A house is not a home unless it has personality and I wanted to feel at home in all the places I love. And I want to share that love with my guests and select every detail with the goal of creating a home. That’s why we don’t just furnish the homes with the basics but go the extra mile to make sure the beds are comfortable, the grill is big enough for family BBQs and there is enough outdoor seating for everyone. I also love to add personal touches to the homes – so look out for local boutique finds or interior souvenirs I brought back from my trips!”
